How OSDTDA is organized, operated, and committed to fair competitions across Oklahoma.
How OSDTDA Operates
OSDTDA is a private, limited liability company registered with the State of Oklahoma. The organization is managed by a Board of Directors and operates under its Operating Agreement and Bylaws.
Board Positions
Fairness & Accuracy
OSDTDA maintains strict requirements to help ensure competition results are fair, accurate, neutral, and reliable.
Conflict of Interest
Certain board members may not coach, choreograph, or be related to dancers, coaches, or choreographers for competing teams or studios.
Score Protection
Score sheets and tabulation areas are protected, and access is limited to approved individuals without team affiliations.
Policies & Procedures
Board Member Restrictions
Board members with coaching, choreography, or immediate family connections to a team may be restricted from activities such as tabulating scores, handling score sheets, selecting judges, or participating in the grievance process.
Competition Staff Rooms
OSDTDA maintains separate staff rooms during competitions. The All Staff Room is used for staff members and volunteers, while the Judges’ Staff Room is reserved for judges, tabulation, score sheets, and penalty review procedures.
Commitment to Neutrality
These procedures are in place to eliminate potential bias or perceived bias and to ensure that all OSDTDA competitions remain neutral, professional, and fair to all dancers.
